John has been involved with the East St. Louis Community Camp since 2012 when he began as treasurer.
John has an Aerospace Engineering degree from Iowa State University and worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer at McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing for 42 years. He retired in 2003 as an Associate Technical Fellow.
He then worked for the Community of Christ as Mission Center Financial Officer for over 5 years. He is an ordained minister in the Community of Christ and has served in a variety of capacities. He has supported church youth activities over the past 40 years. John believes in the mission of the East St. Louis Community Camp and the ministry to youth.
